Great food served family style at each table!!
Yes, this is the wedding cake!

Northwood Park Church of Christ was my (Richard Pepper's )home church for many years starting about age 12, and I was Minister (part-time) there from 2007 until Aug. 31, 2012. This is a pictoral (and video) record of some of our activities starting in 1999 until our closing service Sept. 9, 2012. I hope that this will bring up many happy memories for those of you reading who were once part of this spiritual community, and will be a handy way of sharing them with friends.

It's rather distant and blurry; so it's either Bill with a tie or a Sasquatch.
Either way he was officiating at Ross & Laurie's wedding. But going with the odds, I'd have to say it was a Sasquatch. .
During our last class of Sunday School we played a couple of my games, reviewed some Bible stories (notably Zacchaeus) and then went outside to play what most of the world calls football. KLU defeated K and me 6 to 3 (approximately).
KLU and his mother were soon to be moving back West and so I got some footage of him doing his "jobs" after worship service, and our playing outside during our penultimate class together.
Meanwhile, KLU and I went outside to play football (soccer), frisbee and a bit of field hockey.
After worship service, KLU would perform his "jobs" and usually I would help him. However, now he can remove the pulpit mic and reach the light switches by himself!!
