Northwood Park Church of Christ was my (Richard Pepper's )home church for many years starting about age 12, and I was Minister (part-time) there from 2007 until Aug. 31, 2012. This is a pictoral (and video) record of some of our activities starting in 1999 until our closing service Sept. 9, 2012. I hope that this will bring up many happy memories for those of you reading who were once part of this spiritual community, and will be a handy way of sharing them with friends.
Robby Ahuja and his team from Teen Challenge Thunder Bay were our special guest speakers this past Sunday. Robby told us about the program and he, Brian and Dwayne told us about God's work in their lives, especially in connection with overcoming addictions.

A firetruck!!!
Several of us attended the Dinner in support of MEMO Cuba (Medical Equipment Modernization Opportunity), associated with the Evangelical Free Church, which sends perfectly good (but non-digital) equipment discarded in Thunder Bay to rural hospitals in Cuba. (Then team members travel there and ensure that it is installed and that the personnel are trained.)
The labour and equipment are donated, but each crate costs $9,000.00 to ship.

Here are a few pictures from the crate-loading that took place the next day:

Medical Equipment Modernization Opportunity sends Cuban hospitals equipment that is perfectly useful but discarded from Thunder Bay hospitals. The equipment may be only five years old, but analog, and therefore incompatible with the systems at our new hospital.
On September 21/08 Gary Cooper spoke to our congregation about their work.
